About

About the Brand:

Sincerely, Cherise creates pieces that add that touch of detail to your everyday life, be it to your homes or to your outfits. My brand is for the ones who obsess over life’s little details, for the people who appreciate the fact that what may seem ordinary at first glance, is definitely anything but simple as long as you look close enough.

Β

Founded in late 2018 as a passion project, Sincerely, Cherise began with a desire to capture every detail within the ocean: its depth, translucency, intensity and constant unpredictability. This was brought to life through the use of resin, creating various functional pieces: jewelry, homeware and more.

Β

In 2024, I rebranded with the goal of exploring new ways to express my love for the ocean and more. While my brand name remained the same, I decided to move away from resin to embrace a wider range of mediums and themes, from the ocean floor to the seafood bar. My brand may have evolved, but my dedication to creating well-crafted, intricate pieces remains unchanged.

About the Founder:

Yes, my name really is Cherise (I get that question a lot, which I find genuinely amusing). To me, Sincerely, Cherise as an extension of who I am: my values, my interests and how I move through the world.

Β

If I had to sum myself up, I'd say that I am someone who is incredibly fascinated by the seemingly insignificant and miniscule details that are easily overlooked in everyday life, like the lines and textures in (supposedly) mundane objects. While it’s said that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts, I believe we often appreciate the beauty of the whole preciselyΒ because of its parts, by seeing the extraordinary in something that can be so ordinary: like the veins in a leaf or cracks on the pavement. It’s the little things in life that matter most after all.

Β

My work is rooted in the ocean, a subject I find endlessly intriguing for the way it manages to be both ever-changing and constant all at once. But over the years, that same fascination with detail has led me elsewhere too: to the seafood bar, the cocktail menu, the specific variety of olive in your martini. Anywhere that rewards you for looking closely enough.

Β

Each of my works takes anywhere between days to several weeks to make, and that’s before accounting for the years of experimentation, failures and lessons learnt that have led me to where I am today. I take pride in being almost entirely self-taught, in doing pretty much everything myself and in pouring a lot of thought, effort and time into every piece. Hence the brand name: Sincerely, Cherise.
