About the Brand:
Sincerely, Cherise aims to create pieces that add that touch of detail to your everyday life: be it to your homes, or to your outfits. Our brand is for anyone who appreciates the fact that what may seem ordinary at first glance, is definitely anything but simple as long as you look close enough.
Sincerely, Cherise was started in late 2018 as a passion project, with the goal of simply being able to capture every detail within the ocean: its depth, translucency, intensity, constant unpredictability and more. This was largely accomplished with the use of resin, creating various functional pieces: jewelry, homeware and more.
In 2024, we rebranded with the goal of exploring new ways to express our love for the ocean (and more). Our brand name remained, but we decided to move away from resin and expand the range of mediums used and the themes portrayed. The brand may have evolved, but our dedication to creating high quality, intricate pieces remains the same.

About the Founder:
Firstly, yes my name is indeed Cherise (I get this question a lot, which I find really amusing). Sincerely, Cherise is, to me, an extension of who I am: my values, my interests, how I view the world, and more.
If I had to sum myself up, I'd say that I am someone who is thoroughly fascinated by the seemingly insignificant and miniscule details that are easily overlooked in daily life, such as lines and textures in supposedly mundane objects. While we often say that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts, sometimes we can only appreciate the beauty of the whole by paying closer attention to its parts, and seeing the extraordinary in something that can be so ordinary; like the veins in a leaf or cracks on the floor. I believe that the small things in life are what matter most after all.
My brand largely revolves around the ocean because I find it intriguing. I love how it’s both ever-changing yet constant: the waves crashing over each other endlessly, with different textures being formed each time, as opposed to the perpetual presence of it and the unwavering return of the waves to shore. However, I do also enjoy taking inspiration from nature and any other themes that interest me.
Each of my works takes anywhere between days to a few weeks to make. This is excluding all the years of experimentation, failures, and countless lessons learnt that have led me to where I am today. I take pride in the fact that I am almost entirely self-taught, that I do pretty much everything myself and that I put a lot of thought, effort and time into every piece. Hence the brand name, 'Sincerely, Cherise'.
